Okay, so, like all Open Source projects, Krita has several tools in use to organise itself. There's quite a few.
You can view the latest updates to the source here: http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=calligra.git We are slowly moving to... https://phabricator.kde.org/ You can find us under projects-> Krita:Stable and Krita:Next (As well as Krita: LOD strokes and Krita: Animation, which are the main development goals we are going for coming year.) You can log in with your KDE identity in LDAP. An in-depth guide has been provided by the industrious Mike Abrahams. NEW REVIEW REQUESTS GO HERE! Also, Phabricator supports so-called 'pholio' requests, which are requests for redesigning the UI. Bugs still have to go to https://bugs.kde.org/ . You can browse bugs under https://bugs.kde.org/describecomponents ... duct=krita . The Bugs or Tasks in Phabricator are now mainly focussing on real todos(Like design of new features), but in the future we'll move bugs to phabricator proper this. We talk at... https://krita.org/irc/ (Or #krita at the freenode.org server) << This is for direct talk to devs. Important if you need help with coding, building, etc. If you want to contribute, come and say hi! https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kimageshop << Our mailing list. This is where the important messages go, but not all of them are super interesting to users. If you are trying to build on Linux, follow this: http://davidrevoy.com/article193/guide- ... x-for-cats If you want to build on other systems, please come to the IRC or sent a mail to the mailing lists. Beware that building for/on windows and osx is tricky compared to linux. There's a guide to building Krita 3.0 on OSX here, but it's not for the faint of heart. Wikis... We have our User-manual here: https://docs.krita.org And our developer wiki is here: https://community.kde.org/Krita , but many things are outdated. We may move to phabricator for this as well. API-docs Krita's doxygen output goes here. But we haven't configured it proper yet.

Hi Wolthera: I've written an introduction to Phabricator on the Techbase Wiki. https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Phabricator

So is the git branch for building Krita closed, and Phabricator is the new location of the dev build version?

_builds_ are at https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... ows_Build/ and https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... age_Build/ . The source code is at https://phabricator.kde.org/source/krita/ . You can also check https://cgit.kde.org/krita.git/ . I have no idea what you mean with "So is the git branch for building Krita closed" ?

Hello, thank you for the links and clarification.
What had happened, was when I tried to build Krita from git, it would not connect to it (no access message). So I thought that the git was taken down. That is why I asked. I got Krita installed from the git, just fine, after I had made the comment to make sure that it wasn't still not working. |
