This is something that'll come with the QT5 port. It's not just those with aging eyes, but also those whose screens are too high resolution(like retina devices).
We hope to have this affect the icons as well

We're working on it. It's slow going: there are a number of nasty regressions, one of which is that the canvas is broken...

oh I just thought you where going to delay it for a while. I was under the impression that it was something that required KS funding.

so you are just working on on it when you can? out of necessity?
