I used to use PS to resize my images. I always resized my images to be around a certain image size for the internet no matter if the image was portrait or landscape. While I like the scale menu in Krita, I do miss being able to see the image size in MB's while editing in the menu. I can, of course, see the image size after the edit is made in the info line under the canvas, but again, it would be better to see it while I'm changing to stop the guess work and only have to go to the scale menu once for editing.
I don't know if this would be a simple fix, but I'm hoping it will be. :)

Hm... We actually haven't got any way to figure out the image size after saving, not for kra, nor for jpg or png or other formats. I wonder if photoshop cheats by saving to a temporary file and checking the size of that.

I'm sure it's what you assume. A cached fluid (changeable) temp file until save or ok commits to a new size.
