hello guys

i really miss one simple feature in the brush setup. that is an INVERSE option

for example, yesterday i really needed to make a graffiti drawing and unfortunately i couldn't inverse the pressure size
in other words i needed the brush tip to be small when i pressed the pen and larger as i released it

this shouldn't be too difficult to add to all the pressure settings. please please please pretty pretty please :)

thanx

Hi,

This is already easy to do: just invert the curve of the pressure input on the size parameter.

Hello dniitall,

I believe you want to make the brush size smaller when you press harder.

This can be easily achieved by just inverting the pressure curve of the size parameter in the brush editor (F5). the curve is highlighted in the image below.
Image

With the use of this curve you can not only inverse but control the size in more precise and varied way. for example you can make the size 100% when the pressure is in the middle and size lesser than 100% when pressure is high or low. The graph gives you more control.

Hope it helps.
Thank you

From my small experiments it gets mostly weird since the pressure is the same on a tablet as the start/end of the stroke. So you get this weird fade out, like you never stop spraying while moving it away from the canvas.

You can flip it around either with the tablet pressure curve on the OS level, the krita settings or in the brush settings but you probably want to use some other sensor (opacity-fade maybe?) in the brush to get a smooth stop.

If you want only one-way pressure there is 'pressure in' parameter,
that will make it big to small and not big -> small -> big.
