I have a bug to report about pressure sensitivity issues with my Cintiq 13hd.
If I click on submit bugs btw it takes me to a register page. No. Way. Sorry. ![]() So my bug. I have Windows 10 x64. Krita worked. I just bought this Cintiq 13hd and I started having problems of all sorts, including Krita losing sensitivity. I disabled Windows Ink and things kind of work well now. Except for Krita. I reinstalled on top of the old install, it fixed the bug. Until I started Krita again, and again, no pressure. I uninstalled and re-installed, the bug is still there. No pressure sensitivity at all on any brush. |

Well, I'm afraid that it's pretty much certain it's not a bug in krita, but a problem with your installation. It's known that Windows 10 when it updates breaks the wacom drivers regularly, so maybe that's it?

I have the same problem but with windows 7. The pressure sensitivity doesnt work with krita and cintiq 13HD. I have tried with an Intuos 5 and the same problem occurs. With every other software (gimp, photoshop, tvpain, painter, flash) the pressure sensitivity works fine.
I have tried to completely re install the latest wacom drivers and also resintalling krita: the problem still remains. A bug maybe? |

What version of krita are you guys using? I have a Cintiq 13HD and an intuos 4 large, with Windows 7. I can give it a shot if I can get the right krita version. I've never had problems with pressure on either one before, but last I was on 7 was many months ago.

Reinstalling Krita NEVER solves ANYTHING. The bits that get removed and reinstalled are the static, invariant bits. Krita doesn't store stuff in the Windows registry that gets cleaned out on uninstalling. You can try to move away Krita's settings directory and see if that makes a difference; apparently it fixed an issue with pinch-zoom for someone the other day. If it fixes your issue, then it's a krita bug, and I want a copy of your settings directory so I can check what's up. If it doesn't it's not a Krita issue, sorry.
You can find your Krita settings folder by navigating to %APPDATA%\Roaming. The folder is called 'krita' and renaming it to krita.bak while Krita is NOT running will reset all settings. (Oh, the only time reinstalling will do anything for you is if you've been manually mucking around in the Program Files\krita.) |

It worked! Thank you! The setting directory you want is that krita.bak folder right? Let me know how I can get it to you |

You can zip it up and mail to boud@kde.org, or if it's really big through dropbox or google drive. Oh -- and could you also pack up the new krita directory, so I can figure out the difference? Thanks in advance!

Well, both Krita x64 and x86 running on Windows 10 x64 with Wacom drivers for Cintiq 13HD with a slightly overclocked Nvidia GTX 670 bug.. It's just a more complicated way of saying: Krita bug. : P Because I don't have this bug with any other app. It may be some conflict between Krita and this WIP and annoying Windows 10.. but it's a bug that I don't have in Photoshop or Paintstorm or TVP or Paint.net or Gimp or Artrage or Sketchbook or Rebelle or Mischief or the 3D apps I have here or.. list continues.. In fact Krita worked fine for a week or so, before something broke somewhere. If there is any info that you guys need to figure this out let me know what I can send you. Edit: OK, I killed the C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\krita folder, which in turn removed all my tools. Which of course is not a solution.. And weird enough, that folder was empty.. after uninstalling Krita, yet it was somehow storing my brushes? : / So I reinstalled again and now I have pressure sensitivity, no tools, AND 1-2 cm offset from the tip of the stylus. O___O |

This helped me get sensitivity back on my Cintiq 13hd after doing an upgrade from windows 8.1 to 10... Thank you! ![]() |

Ancient topic but just in case anyone is reading...
My problem was related to setting my Wacom to Mouse mode. Only in Krita this is a problem, as far as I know. You have to use Pen mode or you lose pressure sensitivity. Also, Krita has other issues with default Wacom settings, like Double Click distance, I had to set it to Off, or else there's a small delay before starting to draw properly and all your lines start straight.. Yay. |

Yes, Krita does not support mouse mode. It's not worth it; there are very few artists who use mouse mode. As for the right-click distance thing: that's a problem in more applications than just Krita.
