My tablet is the Genius MousePen 8x6 http://digimend.github.io/tablets/UC-Logic_WP8060U/ works very well on krita 2.9.10.

Today, I'm trying the new version krita pre-apha "krita 3-pre alpha-f7f43f2-x86_64.appimage" - http://files.kde.org/krita/3/linux/krit ... 4.appimage on Ubuntu 14.04.

Pressure sensitivity not working in this version. Is there issue because that's a appimages or anything?

I have same issue with tablet in 3.0 pre-alpha 2 "http://files.kde.org/krita/3/linux/krita3-prealpha2-3c69a59-x86_64.appimage" on Linux.

In this time I also testing the version on Windows 10, the tablet works there.

Anyone have any tips?

No, it's not because it is an appimage... Can you reproduce this issue with mypaint? Because then it's your drivers.

If not, make a tablet log and attach it to a bug submitted to bugs.kde.org.

Tablet work in Krita 2.9.11 like mypaint, GIMP etc.

When I used terminal to open the krita (2.9.11) to check, showed me this.
Code: Select all
$ krita
###################################
# Adding a tablet device: UC-LOGIC Tablet WP8060U
Device Type: "Stylus"
# Building tablet axes remapping table:
Abs X 0 -> 0
Abs Y 1 -> 1
Abs Pressure 2 -> 2
# Axes limits data
X:        0 32767
Y:        0 32767
Z:        0 0
Pressure: 0 1023
Rotation: 72 3
T. Pres:  0 0
krita(8533)/ .......

Krita 3.0 Alpha not show nothing about tablet like 2.9.11 on terminal.

Update:

I have same issue with tablet in 3.0 pre-alpha 3 http://files.kde.org/krita/3/linux/krita3-prealpha3-de0d43d-x86_64.appimage on Linux. I remember that the fix of Dmitry Kazakov improve the suport to Monoprice, Bosto, Huion or Genius. http://dimula73.blogspot.com.br/2014/03/krita-new-extended-tablet-support.html It's gone? I'd like understand what changed: QT5, my drive are outdated or need fix anything on /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/

I want to help to identify more informations, if this can help to make a fix.

I don't know what is going on. Dmitry is still working on Krita code and he was the one dealing with tablet suport rewrite to fit QT5. However, if it also happens with the 2.9.11 build, then it's not the fault of dmitry's code, nor QT5. All that can be done is wait until he finds time to look at your bug.

The tablet code in Linux had to be entirely rewritten because Qt5 changed from Xlib to XCB to handle tablet events. It is possible the workarounds for driver bugs in Huion etc. may need to be rewritten as well.
