Hi thanks for the continuous development of Krita.
I'm finding file layers, layer clone and filter masks to be my best friends for image edition wich is mostly what I do with Krita. For this workflow to work in a much more streamlined aproach the only thing I'm really missing is the ability to create new layers through righclick menu on top of layers: Clone layer would be specially useful (could work like the duplicate layer that already exists). For most of the other "new layer" options, right clicking a layer would create the new layer above the clicked one. Thank you! |

Right click on layer seems like a pretty poor choice of keybinding, as that is where people search for the context menu, so that they can add colors, convert or change the layer properties...

Well, that's where I was suggesting it to happen. The add layer options would be on the context menu options as you already have with masks.

Ah, from your description it sounded as if you wanted to wholesale replace the context-menu.
