I had made an earlier post requesting "hold" pop-up palette. I also made a post about difficulties with switching between assisted brush and non assisted eraser.

I think both and more such issues can be solved by having hold behavior for hotkeys.

We already have a hold key for line tool, it is very helpful. The same for draw curve, dynamic brush, eraser and assistance would really speed up work.

I'll bring it up once we are going to discuss the shortcut system on the sprint, but I expect I'll get horrified programmer's faces, so no promises.

The idea itself is fine, just implementing it might be tricky.
