In version 3.0 for mac, Krita zooms out when I remove the pen from my tablet's range of recognition and subsequently put it back within range. This only happens when the cursor is in the drawing area at the time of pen removal, and it doesn't zoom until the tablet recognises the pen again.
I don't know if it's a known bug, and I know it is an unstable release, but I thought I'd report it in any case. (And no, this has never happened in other programmes, so I'm fairly sure it's not a fault with the tablet driver). |

I believe it would be nice to have a developer review Krita's Zoom tool/features, seeing as it's a fairly fundamental feature that has it's fair share of kinks. ![]() - There's options for shortcuts both under Canvas Input Settings and Keyboard Shortcuts, which ends up cancelling out each other. For example, the shortcut for "Fit to page" in the Photoshop Compatible settings profile under Canvas Input Settings is Ctrl+0, but doesn't work when in the Keyboard Shortcuts, the same shortcut is used for "Reset zoom". Maybe one of them should be removed, or just set to mimic the other. - There's no possibility of assigning a shortcut to the Zoom Tool in the Toolbox. As a default, I've come to believe that 'Z' usually is assigned to switching to the zoom tool in drawing software. I think it would be pretty handy way to quickly access the Zoom Tool for someone who might be new to drawing digitally and just switches between the tools in the Toolbox. - While using the Zoom Tool, I alternate between zooming in and out using the Alt key. Yet, the cursor with the magnifying glass alternates between + and - on the Ctrl key. A bit confusing. I'm guessing it's hard coded to the Ctrl key rather than the key for the functionality, which might be best to change. - Alt+Space opens up an annoying window menu that serves pretty much no purpose. Detaching the shortcut from said menu would be nice. Though I believe it's something default in Windows, so I don't know if there's a programmatic workaround to this. The reason I'm mentioning this is because this is also a Photoshop shortcut for zooming out. I'm sorry if I'm pointing out things that are set to change in an upcoming release, but I found the same problems in the latest Alpha build. ![]() |

The alt-space menu is a windows thing that we cannot override.
