Made a bug report here (DebugView attachment in here) https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373532 but am not sure how active it is compared to the forums, so Im making this for the same reason.
Recently got the Ugee 2150 drawing monitor and once I got past the annoying set up I got it to work really nicely with SAI but in Krita it doesnt really work at all. Each line is connected to the previous, except for occasional random ones where it doesnt seem to. Occasionally they share the same point of origin instead of going after the previous stroke, as if its stuck at the end of an older stroke. Here is a puu.sh screenshot of the lines it makes+debugview https://puu.sh/sLZPM.png |

Yes, I saw your bug report and closed it as a duplicate. You should have had mail about that. The bug had already been reported. We're not working on a fix, though, because we don't have access to the hardware. I guess it works with Sai because the Ugee driver developers test with Sai: it's pretty likely their drivers are a mess, though.
As for how active bugzilla is, check https://bugs.kde.org/weekly-bug-summary.cgi |

The new drivers (2017-02-20) from Ugee seemed to fix the problem. But you need to download the drivers labeled "NEW DRIVERS 2017", and the download instructions say "For most ugee tablets windows".

Yep, a driver problem. I'm not surprised...

I'd like to add. Today I got the same tablet, and with newest drivers the setup was pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with Krita 3.1 at all. It works well in many other programs (TVPaint, Maya grease pencil tool, Autodesk Sketchbook pro) and, most important, it works like a charm in Krita 2.9! I understand this might be not the main priority, but the fact it does work in previous version gives me some hope. Is there any way I could help to solve this problem, e.g. send logs or do testing?
UPD Managed to get it work in Krita 3.1. It's strange, but I had to disconnect my second monitor, and it worked. |
