I have a fatal bug in Krita in Windows.
I don't now why happens. Sometimes when i make a new file the program freezes and after that windows shows a notification that say something like this "The Intel graphics driver stop working and recovers correctly". The canvas stop working and the only way for use Krita again is rebooting windows. Its really annoying, the worse is that in my old windows installation works correctly and is the same os. Looks like is the opengl because deactivating the opengl option in Krita makes the canvas work again. Thanks for your help. |

Why do you think this is a bug in Krita? It's a bug in the Intel driver. Intel's display drivers have shown at least three big bugs up to now: first, in some versions they made the entire Krita window black, then for some versions, they don't show the image at all until something outside the canvas is clicked, and now this bug. Intel has 106,742 employees, that is 106,741 more than the Krita Foundation. Let them spend time to fix their bugs, instead of making us work around their broken drivers.

Some integrated graphics card in the Krita open OpenGL, Krita will crash. You determine your integrated graphics no problem, you can open the Krita OpenGL. |
