Hi

I'm using 3.1.1 with photoshop compatible shortcuts. I'm going to try to help develop this stuff

Various:

there is no tooltip for the "Internal Pool" setting

Photoshop Compatibility:

rotate canvas with R (when using the ps-shortcuts)
psd import adjustment layers
psd import layer menu-color
ctrl+g ambigous shortcut (when using the ps-shortcuts | in ps this encapsulates the selected layer in a group)

Animation:

import gif frames
"import animation frames" grayed out until frame is created. Took a while to figure this out
the tooltip in the animation docker says: new frame (), copy frame (), remove frame ()
remove color from multiple selected frames doesn't work
onion-skin show first frame when editing the last frame

Brushes:

show tag dropdown menu next to "Save to Presets"
can't override preset as long as only the brushes preview-image is changed
make [F6 -> right click on brush -> edit] available
when using this brush, the cursor does not move anymore: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6R-92 ... U1WlE/view
also make a "disable eraser mode" and "enable eraser mode" shortcut to configure available
show eraser icon next to brush border when in erase mode
[F6 -> right click on brush -> assign to tag]: deleted tags still showing

1. The PS compatibility sheets are free to adjust, make some adjustments and post them to phabricator.kde.org in a task in Krita next or something.
2/3. PSD features are insanely hard to implement, we're not working on these currently due to that.
4. ctrl+g should be encapsulate in group. Perhaps the shortcut sheet needs to be adjusted, see 1.

5. Import gif frames is unlikely to happen. This is because we use FFMPEG to interface with GIF, and thus would mean that we would also need to write an importer that goesvia ffmpeg. This is a lot of work for opening gif frames.
6. Should go to the bgtracker, bugs.kde.org
7. Also bugtracker.
8. Make a wishbug at the bugtracker.

9. no opinion.
10. bugtracker.
11. Don't understand why this is necessary?
12. bugtracker
13. Don't understand this?
14. no opinion.
15. Really old bug needs rewrite of relevant systems.

Thanks. I'll submit them to the bugtracker later.

11. The dropdown-menuitem was meant as a user friendly shortcut for: [F6 -> select brush -> close menu -> F5] or [F5 -> select brush form list above]
13. 'E' toggles the eraser Mode. But there could be 2 shortcuts: one to enable the eraser mode, and one to disable it, if someone prefers that. idk, maybe things like this would bloat up the shortcut list too much.

While on the topic, there's an interesting conflict with the PS Compatible profiles because PS does invocation on a per-tool basis. In PS, when using the selection tool, the shortkeys for adding and subtracting selections are Shift + Left click and Alt + Left click respectively. While Krita does the latter just fine, it can't really do the former because it conflicts with the Activate Line Tool tool invocation.

With that in mind, I'd like to see an addition to the Canvas Input Settings in the future where you can limit a shortkey to a specific tool. A quick mockup:
