Hello. I use color patches shade selector instead of gradient shade selector, but there's no visual feedback what color I chose in color patches version, which makes it harder to use. Adding a frame like in gradient version would be a very good addition. (screenshots 1,2)

Also, two minor annoyances about color patches:
1. if I click between the patches then the color switches to black, which is not helpful and annoying.
2. in some "patches per line" settings grey lines between patches look inconsistent, some of these are more pixels wide, some are less. Looks ugly. (screenshot 3) Maybe it's better to get rid of grey lines between the colors at all?

I'm using Windows 10.
