Hi all,
I have an issue with Krita 3.1 and a Cintiq 12WX. It seems to be a common problem. I've seen a lot of topic on the subject but never with a 12WX. My problem: My cursor has a little offset on canvas (It's weird because the cursor doesn't have any offset on Krita's windows or in Photoshop or Gimp or Mischief). I tried every solutions I found on KDE and elsewhere before this post, like leaving the pen off the screen and hold shift (I tested the 3 options), I tried to install new Wacom driver but my Cintiq is too old I think, so I install the old one again. I tried to modify the resolution of my screens. I tried with a new graphic card driver and I get no differences. I was pretty sure Krita 3.1 was not the problem but I tried Krita in 2.9, 2.9.7 and 2.9.11 in portable version too and the offset disappeared (I prefer Krita 3.1 for it's interface and some new features). So since Krita 3 I've got the offset. My equipment:
My principal screen resolution => 1920 x 1080 pixels Graphic Card : AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series and I'm on Windows 10 Thank you if anyone can help me to get rid of this pen offset. Yann |

Krita really can only work with the coordinates it gets from the wacom driver. So those must be wrong... With my cintiq, that usually is the result of faulty calibration, but then there is an offset everywhere. Some people have found in the past that completely resetting the wacom configuration could help: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#How_to_ ... on_Windows

Hi boudewijn,
Thank you for your quick reply.
To have a good calibration on the canvas I need to have a bad calibration on the rest of my screen (on Krita windows too). The problem is not everywhere, just on the canvas, so I think it's not the calibration fault. Tell me if I'm wrong.
Yes I read all the other posts on KDE before posting here. I uninstalled my Cintiq and I tried to reset with the default settings and I tested with new drivers but the problem still exist. The fact that the previous version of Krita works without problems would not be a possibility to solve the problem? |

I don't know if this is related, but I managed to temporarily get Krita into a state where the colour applied to canvas was offset from the brush outline shown. This happened when I'd been messing around with Dyna and Particle brushes in symmetry mode for a bit. After switching back to pixel brushes, I noticed a significant (50-100PX) offset between the cursor and paint output. I had to force a save as Krita claimed to be stuck waiting for a brush operation to finish, and after closing the document and opening it again, the issue was gone.
This happened regardless of whether I tried to paint with a mouse or my Cintiq pen. Edit: Eugh. Nevermind. I must've leaned on the keyboard or something, the layer I was painting on had a transform mask that was slightly rotated. Didn't mean to put that there, so I didn't know to look for it. |

I had, perhaps a related problem [Krita 3.1.2 , Intuos 4, Ubuntu 16.04] I thought I should flag it.
This only happened once and I have not been able to replicate it but in trying to choose a brush from the drop down menu my "choice" was offset by 2 or 3 brushes (sorry can't remember exactly) i.e. I would choose Brush A and Brush C would be selected .... |
