I freuently use Krita to do specific lineart over image using line/bezier tools. And the most annoying part is to draw lines with smooth size changes. Currently i have to draw line and then erase some parts of it manually, to gove it proper shape.
But, in my opinion, this can be easily automated by Krita, this will be usefull for many tasks, not only the one i described here. I see two ways of tools improvement here 1) Line/Bezier tool should remember brush sizes at the beginning of drawing and at the end of stroke. And interpolate between this values along the path. Currently both tools use fixed size, at the end of the line/path 2) Some brush sensors are ignored in line/bezier mode, for now - sensors simply produce fixed value (0 usually) for all points of line/path. It would be greatly expand possibilities if sensors in line/path tools produce values specific to each point. For example distance could be taken as ratio "length of path till point"/"full length of path/line". In this case line/bezier tools could be able to produce many beautiful shapes automatically, for example: ![]() What you think? Best regs. |

Well, it would be great -- and all it needs is someone to code it
