I everyone,
First of all, I would like to thank you devs for all this hard work. Krita is getting better every updates, and I try really hard to make all my friends jump from photoshop to Krita for digital painting. Thoses who tried are now using Krita almost everyday. I was just wondering if the text tool was completly done, or if there were still some changes to expect in the future. Have a nice day ! |

Right now, the text tool went from a crashy mess that also had files that didn't load right to a non-crashy tool that, once you save the files, they do load properly.
To get it further, we'll need to probably use a different text layout system. Right now, it is just annoying to use, so we're first going to tackle other sections of Krita that are extremely buggy (resource system, autosave) before we get back to text. |

Thanks for this quick response.
Right now, the text tool is usable, so I clearly understand why it's not a priority, but I'm still really excited to know that it will be improved. It was, indeed, quite crashy on the older version (which is not on 4.1 \O/) . Good luck ! |
