Dear Krita developers -
If I change the size of a brush while working in Krita, the change stands as long as I keep using that brush. As soon as I switch brushes, that first brush changes back to its default size, almost always smaller than what I changed it to. Then the next time I select it, I need to resize it again, and repeat the process every time I use the brush. I realize I can change the default brush size permanently, but I would still find that's it's often not the size I want for a particular artwork. My feature suggestion is for Krita to remember the last-utilized brush size for a particular brush, and retain that for the duration of working session. When the program is closed, everything goes back to its original setting, as currently. This feature would save me a great deal of time, as I go through the resizing process to recreate the same brush size over and over again during a session. You could also include a tool option with a check box for "Remember most recent brush size". Thanks for considering my feature suggestion. Best, Gary |

Hi,
one already can temporarily Save Tweaks to Preset (Dirty Presets): "Dirty presets store the tweaks you make as long as this session of Krita is active. After that, the revert to default. Dirtied presets can be recognized by the icon in the top-left of the preset" (https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/l ... ng-brushes) ![]() |

it's an option called "temporarily save tweaks to presets", you can find this at the bottom of the brush engine

Thanks for the "Temporarily Save" suggestion. I've tried it and it seems to work not only for the current session, but for the next session as well, so one doesn't have to reselect the option each time the program starts. I will check the box for all of my most commonly used brushes.
