What does this mean and how do I prevent this from happening?
c++: error: language SSE2 not recognized I'm on Debian 9 and I have the latest git pull ( commit cd1927edc4c86763a56e390273f1dae4a0d3a76e ) |

You need to show more context. Just this line isn't enough to start guessing what's up.

So, the real error is, of course:
CMake Error at /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/cmake/Qt5/Qt5Config.cmake:28 (find_package): Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Qt5Designer" with any of the following names: Qt5DesignerConfig.cmake qt5designer-config.cmake Add the installation prefix of "Qt5Designer" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "Qt5Designer_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files. If "Qt5Designer" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed. Call Stack (most recent call first): plugins/qt/designer/CMakeLists.txt:1 (find_package) So, either you need to install that dependency, or use -DBUILD_KRITA_QT_DESIGNER_PLUGINS=OFF |

Ehm ok Sorry I was tired. I missed the qtdesigner message completely. It failed before it, and when launching I had a missing .so message so I thought adding QtDesigner would provide more links or something. Now I switched compiler version, so trying again.

Thanks again for the quick response and accurate answer. I commented out the -DBUILD_KRITA_QT_DESIGNER_PLUGINS=ON and now the build completes and everything goes well during install except for one .json warning. I have QtDesigner5 installed, this is Debian 9, what do I need to edit and how to enable this? Lovely widgets you have in Krita, I must admit. |
