Hi guys, I hope you guys see my request.

Is there any plan to add 3D dolls, whether anime (I cross my fingers for anime) or real humans on Krita like ClipStudioPaint CSP or DesignDoll to help beginners or accelerate animations?

Clip Studio Paint and Design Doll, have 3D morphable dolls that you can decide from female to male characters and from fat to muscular or thin characters.

Here are some screenshots from internet:

Thank you, guys.

We had two projects aiming at something like this, but the students working on them as part of Google Summer of Code never managed to produce anything at all. There are currently no plans to pick up on that, but you might be interested in makehuman: http://www.makehumancommunity.org/

There is still an option to use ready-made free 3d-mannequin by namito111:

:)
But of course it needed to be smart coder as those who implemented it already in ClipStudioPaint. :O :) And unfortunately I am not the one. :(

link Blender viewport to Krita as a layer in real-time?
then you don't have to invest resource to complicated 3D stuff

How would do you that? Does Blender provide any kind of API Krita could use to get the image from the viewpoint of the opened Blender instance?

Wouldn't File layer pointing to the file that Blender renders to be a good solution? It would be semi-real time (you'd need to render the file once in a while to be sure Krita shows the updated version), but why would you want the true real-time anyway? You won't be able to paint in the same time as using Blender anyway, and if you want to accurately poste the character, it's better to load a 2D image in Blender instead of the other way around.

I do know linking render result file is the way to go right now.
but according to the feature OP requiring, he obviously wants more than that.
then I recommend the most efficient way to achieve something like clip studio paint.

for API, it has to communicate, however it will save more resource than build an entire new 3d system in Krita.

I recall thinking this would be a great thing too.

Looking for a virtual mannequin kinda like the "wooden" ones you get at art supply stores. So there would not necessarily need to be a high resolution model. At least not for my purposes - would be happy with pose-reference functionality.

BTW I am no programmer, else I might have attempted this myself. I have just enough programming knowledge to be aware of API and such things. With the development of Blender 2.8 and work-spaces I am hopeful they will be able to make a 3D window accessible to other Python script-able applications such as Krita. As it stands there is a plugin for Blender that incorporates Make Human into blender. Once that API is stabilized possibly Krita's canvas could become a viewport for the same or an derived plugin?

Though of course now you have me thinking, "why stop there?" if you could access the whole Blender window, then setting up reference scenes for a graphic novel or similar would allow many reusable assets.

Sorry, fantasy brain dump over - apologies if I speculated too far from the OP

I think there is potential for Blender to expose this via Python. Not the same thing, but I recall around the time of Blender 2.5 and the Sintel movie, they had a method of piping materials/textures to and from GIMP so you could virtually "paint" detail in GIMP and send it back to Blender. I cannot think I have seen it much beyond the demo back then. But it certainly blew my mind at the time.
