I don't know if I should post this question here but couldn't find anywhere else, sorry.

I want to donate to krita monthly but I'm not sure how it operates. Apparently there's a Monthly Subscription page in the krita homepage but no any other information about it: How I can change the Amount, Payment Method, and how I can cancel the subscription etc. (The homepage does not have a log in system for normal users) So I'm afraid I'm not gonna be able to make a change after I subscribe.

Mind if I ask you to give me a bit more info about it?

Hi tayloryoung, that's a feedback i understand after reading the page at https://krita.org/en/support-us/monthly-subscription/ and you are right; it is difficult to understand how the recursive process is done (duration/who to contact/etc). I'm sure a feedback like your will help the webmaster of the Krita website to clarify it or add more info on this page.

In my case, I am a monthly subscriber since years, but all is managed via Paypal account (I don't see Paypal as an option for the monthly-subscription list anymore, but I'm sure years ago I used a paypal button for that). So, in my case I'm in full control at any moment to reduce or cancel my monthly donation. I just need to login to my Paypal account and edit the recursive payment options.

@deevad - For why Paypal isn't an option, that must be some limitation of the Mollie payment system we use. That is a shame since Paypal is a very common option. If you switch to the "one time" payment option, you will see that paypal exists in that format. I am not sure why our payment system would work like that. Maybe something needs to be configured for that to appear.

@tayloryoung - that is a good point about managing the subscription. We might need to work on this page a bit explaining how you can either update or cancel your monthly subscription. It also might be nice to see how much revenue is being brought in with monthly subscriptions on this page. I don't think many people are using it...maybe partly because of the concerns you have along with not supporting paypal.

I think that depends on the payment details you setup. If you use paypal, you'd use your paypal account to change the details, if SEPA, your banking application, if credit card, the credit card company tools to change recurring payments.
