Visual Indication for Mirror View

Mon Sep 16, 2019 1:59 pm
That's big annoyance I encountered when I draw comic.
I just write a letter to just realized that I was in Mirror View. So I had to redo it again.

I saw a little box showing number when I zoom.
So I hope there is some text showing that I am seeing Mirrored View

There are people that seem to really dislike the hovering indicators, even when they disappear after a few seconds. Though some non-intrusive indication for mirror mode could be a good addition, I agree.

You mentioned you were writing a letter and had to redo that part, because of accidentally working in mirror mode. Why could you not just use Image > Mirror Image Horizontally - was the writing merged with the background? If you're working on separate layers, there is also Layer > Transform > Mirror Layer Horizontally, and the Transform Tool in general.

Thanks for Tips @snudl.
