I am using Krita on a Mac running Mojave 10.14.6.
I am finding that opening any .psd file causes an instant crash. ( I have tested various documents even the most simple single layer file. ) I am using the latest 4.2.7 build. If I go back to a Krita version 3 the psd’s open OK. I have not had this problem until recently so I am not sure if Krita has changed or something in my system. Does anyone else have this issue? |

If you have this issue, can you report a bug at bugs.kde.org under the product Krita? Then we can keep track of the bug and fix it.
Could you, by any chance, also include the file that crashes, or identify what is making it crash in 4.2.7 by making copies with layers removed? |

Hi,
I have downloaded Krita few days ago and I am serially thiking in moving from Painter to Krita. I have the same exact problem as you have: - macos : 10.14.6 (18G103) (as you) - krita : 4.2.7.1 I have reduced the test to a very simple scenario: - creating with Krita a 250x250 at 1 ppi - this creates a default background + 1 empty layer - save the file as PSD - when loading the file the crash is immediate. Have you repored the bug in bugs.kde.org? |

That was https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413444 . I couldn't reproduce on my mac, but I was able to guess at what might have been the problem. You could try the latest nightly build for macOS to see if that fixes the problem for you as well: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... acOS_Build

I feel like I'm a magician. I can fix bugs I don't see, and that should not exist...
