While I'm loving Krita so far, as a new user...but, why can I "pixel nudge" using the arrow keys with the Move tool, but not Transform? (on Win10)
Is this working as intended or a bug? I dont see any reason to not have the same functionality there, but as a new user I am not familiar with dev history or problems preventing this. I tried searching all over the place, and did see some bug report from 4-5 years ago that mentioned it was supposed to be the same? (I can click in the x or y box in the tool settings and nudge there, but that is very inconvinient...so i have to swap tools just to nudge for precision.) |

That would be handy, I agree. I'd say it's good if you open a new bug report for it and set the Severity to wishlist: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?form ... duct=krita

+1, I was thinking about this exact missing feature today.

As a workaround, when using the transform tool, you can scroll in the x,y position boxes to get +/- 1 px changes. If you do Ctrl+scroll then it changes in +/- 10px steps.
This technique does work in various other value entry boxes but the exact behaviour is not consistent across tools and values (e.g. it works in rotation but there is no Ctrl (or Shift or Alt) multiply modifier. |
