Hi,
I've been using krita and file layers for years (although I may be considered an occasional user) and only now did I discover that you can transform them by using transform masks. I know it should be assumed that we read the docs and watch tutorials (and the feature is not that hidden anyway) but the thing is, once I see a message with a padlock saying "Layer type cannot use the transform tool", I just assume the feature hasn't been implemented so I don't even look further. If instead the message said: "Use a transform mask for that", it would prevent what happened to me from happening to other users or at least save them some research time. |
