"Object-oriented" editing

Sun Jul 12, 2020 8:34 am
There should be an "object-oriented mode", i.e. an option to store and retrospectively modify the parameters of certain actions. For example, with this "object-oriented mode" turned on, the Gradient tool would create an own layer or mask with the color gradient, and the user could retrospectively modify the colors or spatial location of the color gradient one by one (for example to make very slight adjustments), without having to make an entirely new gradient from scratch.
