ive seen a video by aaron rutten who uses a samsung phone with android and krita for android whilst connacted to the wacom one pendisplay.
he opens krita in desktopmode (samsung dex) and happily draws with his wacom one pen display having pressure and tilt support working. wacom and now huion are makinng pen displays that support android to work on. the displays are getting mobile (running of a batterypack phonechargeryou can work for hours) and in my opion we will see more and more tablets working with android as well as pc and mac. huion made the kamvas 13 that works also with android , i now own one of these. it has pressure workingn under medibang huion sketch infinite painter and artflow. you can be sitting in a park drawing on premium pendisplay with your android device. and here comes krita making a full fledged desktop version of krita work under android. here are some facts. flagship phones are now coming out with desktop mode when connected to screens pendisplays or projectors, pendisplay manufactureres are making mobile tablets that support android under those desktop modes. krita is making full functioning desktop version under android. this is becoming a thing and it will expand to more people wantinng this feature and wanting the best android program to use with it. a full port of krita is way way better then any app made by others on android. the wacom one pendisplay works with krita fully functioning out of the box. their main compatitor made a similar product the huion kamvas 13 (2020). but unlike the wacom one the huion has no pen pressure or tilt when using it in krita for android. it might be wise to look into that so pen displays that work on android all work with krita for android. you have a potential perfect product for artists on the go with big tablets like samsun ones or for artists with pen displays. i hopethe developers of krita for android will look into why huion kamvas 13 has no pressure or tilt while wacom one has it straight out of the box. androiid compatible pendisplays are going to be mainnstream. the more that work with krita the more prita will be nr 1 on android |
