I'm just confused why there aren't any screen presets when creating a new document, no HD, Full HD, 1440p or 4K, I have to all set it by hand, editing the X and Y dimensions. Why is that?
All I see are paper sizes, which are not interesting to me, I want to use a digital screen, not print it out. Are there any plans to add useful presets to that? |

Krita is free and open source software, so you're not just a consumer who has to complain and wait until they get what they need, you can participate. There are no screen presets because nobody has ever thought of submitting those. Apparently you are the first person who needs them. So... Create them, then submit them and we can include the presets. |

You are very right! I work with/for a lot of Opensource myself and yes, it is participatory.
My post was actually for exactly that purpose, to make Krita better. Where do the presets get saved? Once I have defined them, how can I send them to you guys? |

They are saved in the folder you see if you go to Settings -> Manage Resources -> Open Resource Folder and then look into the "predefined_image_sizes". It would be best if you cloned Krita's repo, added it to krita/data/predefined_image_sizes and edit CMakeFiles.txt to include those new files. Please name them using the same system as others are named. Then you can make a MR on https://invent.kde.org/graphics/krita
