I was at krita and when i was drawing in the animation mode, i think, right now the automatic fotogram mode what it does is copy the previus frame, i dont know if this choice is the result of a on going development or if is the result that they want for an animation rule, but for me can be more Useful, would be better if the next frame be a clean frame, probably somebody already think on this but that buttom need a second option for the next frame be a copy o new clean frame, probaly this is already in the mind of the developer team, but this part is just the beggining of my idea, i was thinking, i notice the resemblance of me drawing in krita animation mode with playing a video game, Using the keyboard for some action and in this case insted of the mouse, the drawing tablet, i am right handed, it would be beter for me and others if there was a option to change the directional keys next to the block number keys to “ A,S,D,W “, that in this program does not have a key short action, and the process would be with automatic fotogram mode making new clean frames and with the “A,S,D,W”, move the position of the actual frame in the animator timeline with the left hand and drawing in the tablet with the right hand, that gives a fluency for the animnator at the moment to create an animation, this is already posible for a left handed men or women, but can be posible for right and left handed people if the automatic fotogram mode give the ooption of create a new clean frame and the oportunity of change de directional keys for the “A,S,D,W”.
i am not fluid writing in english, i am sorry for the ortography mistakes ![]() |

You can change the shortcuts in Configure Krita -> Keyboard Shortcuts.
The feature to make clean frames will be available in Krita 5 (release date not known but hopefully this year). Also if you break the text into a few paragraphs instead of writing everything in one big paragraph, that makes it easier to read ![]() |
