Hello, I’m a comics artist and decided to try Krita for coloring some pages. I draw and ink on paper, scan in two colors and color with Krita or Clip Studio Paint.
As my inking gives not always "closed zones", I use often selection tools and I met a quite boring problem.
Selection tool option is set globally.
So if choose intersect with rectangular selection, intersect will be used by default for all tools. It’s quite surprising if you don’t know and I thought that Krita was broken when I tried to use Similar Color Selection Tool and nothing was selected : as I had chosen Intersect option for another tool, Similar Color was creating nothing on a new selection.
I would prefer that each tool remember selection option as I use each tool for specific operation (Similar Color rarely needs Intersect by example).
