I'm attaching (I think) a screen shot of my Krita workspace. I have 13 tabs open - typical when I teach an online class critiquing student work - and I have absolutely no idea which tab represents the active window, as they all look the same. So when I to close the current window, I have to literally guess which tab will do the job, since they are too small to read the filename, and there is no graphic difference between them. Please consider in a future version a way to highlight the tab that corresponds to the current window, like a color, asterisks, or tone. Thanks! Gary |

The tab bar is a standard ui component we don't have any control over, so we cannot change anything about it.

Thanks for your reply. Now I understand why it's not more user-friendly, if it's a component that's in a sort of lock box coming from elsewhere. I hope there is a coder out there in the cyber world who does have access to the guts of this feature and can do a few simple tweaks, like a more noticeable color change (right now the active tab is a SLIGHTLY lighter grey), such as an underline, bold face, etc. A bit frustrating that all the great developers at Krita have their hands tied with this one.
