Conky as plasmoid

Mon Sep 08, 2014 8:21 pm
Hi,

in kde 4 I think it was possible to use google plasmoids would it be possible to use conky scripts as plasmoids? they are fancy and people like them.

Would there be a way to put the conky scripts into plasmoids or is it not possible?

thanks.

Google gadgets support has been removed. I'm not sure if what you ask with regards to Conky will be possible, short of using Conky directly, of course.

@Einar
Conky must either use ARGB (req. compositing) or the plasma wallpaper be copied into the conky window explicitly. It can esp. not run on the root window.
