Printer config module

Thu Sep 11, 2014 10:07 am
Hi everyone,

So I've been trying Plasma 5 on Kubuntu for a few days now, and I could not find the KDE Printer Configuration Module in Systemsettings, nor in Muon or via apt-cache. I guess this is normal ? Does this module have to be rewritten for KDE Frameworks 5 / Plasma 5 ?

Can confirm that there's no Printer config from System Settings.

You could set-up a printer via http://localhost:631/ however.

You can also install the 4.x version and run it with "kcmshell4 <module name>". Some distros (openSUSE in primis) make System Settings coinstallable for this reason, among others.
