Hello guys, I'm not totally sure if this is the right place for this topic.

I'm using Plasma 5 on Arch and so far I'm pleased with it. I have some questions though:

Right now when I connect my phone to my computer (phone in MTP mode) I cannot browse the filesystem on this device. Device is recognized, I get notification about new device but "Open in File Manager" is greyed out. I have libmtp and kio-mtp, and this did work in KDE 4. Any advice?

moved to Plasma 5 forum

I can browse the files on my phone in KDE 5 in mtp mode, so it is possible

as workarounds look at kdeconnect and airdroid (in the Google store)

for advice I'd suggest re-installing all your mtp packages

the critical question is this a Arch or your install issue

does it work as a new user?
