Style settings for QT5 apps

Thu Feb 12, 2015 11:33 am
Hi,
I'm using plasma 5.2 (Frameworks 5.7) on Kubuntu 14.10. I cannot find the way how to set style for applications using QT5, for example systemsettings5. There is style set to value Breeze in system settings, but it only affects applications using QT4, systemsetting5 is using Oxygen style.
Style change is reflected in file
Code: Select all
~/.config/kdeglobals

I can force using Breeze by command
Code: Select all
export QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=breeze && systemsettings5
but in this case my color scheme and font settings are not respected.
Can you point me how this can be solved?

Only a small clarification, used default style is not Oxygen but GTK+ (with oxygen-gtk). I don't know why, when my environment variable is set
Code: Select all
XDG_SESSION_DESKTOP=KDE

I still don't know where the root of problem is but a solution for forcing Qt5 to use kde theme is to set

Code: Select all
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=kde

You can also use QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE="Breeze"

Not really, it solves only part of a problem (see the first post)
