Hello,

I'm trying out KDE 5.7.0 on the latest Kubuntu 15.04 alpha. I was wondering if it's possible to use Compiz as a window manager instead of KWin. That used to be possible in KDE 4 through the "Desktop effects" settings page. I don't see it anymore in 5.7.

what version of KDE 4 was it possible in? Maybe it was a Kubuntu thing but it has been years since that was possible for me

it's under Applications -> Default Applications

I wouldn't recommend changing though.

Are they both installed on kubutu 15.04? Thanks
