Hi all,
hoping this is the right forum for the question: I recently upgraded to Kubuntu 15.04 including kde5. Now I find that saving kde sessions doesn't work any more: when I log out and back in again, all previously running programs are re-opened on the first virtual desktop instead of their original locations. This happens on all user accounts, I have also tried deleting .kde/share/config/session with no luck. After some googling I think there should be kwin*-files which I don't have... any ideas what else I could try? If this is the wrong forum, please forgive me & point me to a better one - I'm just assuming it has to do with plasma5, because I can't quite distinguish exactly what's plasma's responsibility in this case... thanks a million, sharkcow |

sm is not yet ported
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341930 that's for kwin but afaics clients like kwrite have the same issue (opens empty files) |
