Hello All

I am using a Kubuntu 15.04 fresh install, with plasma 5, and breeze
KDE - Be Free! - Frameworks Version 5.9.0

I have the standard container at the bottom of the screen with the task bar - the windows that are maximized are shown with a light gray background and a darkgray font. The windows minimized appear dimmed out, with light gray font, and the icon lighter as well.

Not sure if it's just me or not, but I really struggle to read the inactive windows name in the taskbar.
I've tried a few settings, and mostly screwed up everything for now... (back to normal though) - workspace theme is breeze, desktop theme is breeze 0.9.7 as well (not the sakr one, the light one)

Where can this be configured ?

Many thanks for pointing me to the right place,

J.

Believe it or not, but a desktop effect might help with this.
Try the 'Background contrast" effect. It helps me see the taskbar items when I use a lighter background image and the Breeze plasma theme
