I have a question. I'd like to configure my Plasma panel with the Icon-only application launcher so that it no longer spreads out the windows of a application group.

I'd like to have the most recent window selected when I click on an application with multiple windows and only have them spread out when I click it and a window of the application is already open.

Basically that is the default behavior of the Unity dock. It saves slightly more than a full second if you only need the most recent window and that is mostly the case.
