Hello.
I just installed KDE plasma 5 on my Debian Jessie (I've been Gnome user for years, decided to give it a try) and there are 3 problems I need help with:
1. There is no "Display" icon in System Tray Settings/Application Launcher Settings;
2. There is no Network Info or Network manager icon on a panel;
3. When I right click on a picture file it doesn't give me an option to open it with different programs.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Afaik Debian Jessie has no Plasma 5, where did you get it from?
1) Do you have the package kscreen installed?
2) Do you have the package plasma-nm (or similar) installed and enabled Network in System Tray Settings ?
3) Systemsettings->File Associations - Any associated applications for your picture file?

Hi.
Thanks for quick reply.
Yes, I do have both kscreen and plasma-nm installed.
Somehow, I managed to solve network-manager problem.
As for the "Display" icon - it remains unsolved.
There should be "Display" icon in left upper corner of Application launcher Settings tab but there isn't.
BTW, I'm running KDE 4.14 not 5.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
