Fedora 22, KDE 5, Nouveau graphics, all last updated a few hours ago!
I'm using the "Breeze" look and feel, "Breeze" theme. (I tried switching around themes, that didn't help.) This morning I noticed that the "title" font of the pop-ups and panels that emerge from the tool panel have blank blocks for *most* of the characters. For example, when I hover the mouse over the Application Menu, I'll see *ppll***l** M***, where the asterisks are actually dark blocks of various sizes. Ah, here, I made a screenshot of the notification box: scrambled_fonts by Stefan Jones, on Flickr

Looks like some driver issue in Noveau. Do you see the same with the NVIDIA blob?

Well . . . after a reboot, the pop-up and notification titles now have readable text.
KDE 5 certainly has its share of instabilities; configurations lost and occasional lock-ups. But it is a fairly new platform and I'm willing to let it stabilize. |
