Is there a definitive list and descriptions of the config files in the home directory, like in .kde and .config and .local?

Sometimes when I'm having mysterious KDE problems, they've been solved by creating a new user or renaming .kde and letting a new login start with fresh config files. A blank new user on my system, boots right into KDE from the dm while my user that I have many time consuming settings established takes a long time. I'd like to be able to clean house a bit, but I don't want to give up on my settings. I'd like to know what is what, so I can start over on some things but keep others.
