Hi !
I have a strange issue on Plasma desktop lately. It seems that my ESC key is not forwarded to applications, for an unknow reason. like In Konsole, when I use vim, I can't go back in normal mode (most annoying consequence) When i open the Krunner with ALT + F2, i can't cancel it. etc, etc.. But the surprising thing is, that the key just works in other scenarios. An the bug is related to Plasma/KDE, because the key is working on a tty I'm running KDE on Fedora 22, frameworks 5.11.0, platform 4.14.9 => Did you experience the same issue ? Thanks ! |

Sounds more like the key event is not correctly mapped in Qt5 applications, rather than being affected by the desktop environment?
Not seen that here (but scrolling QML used to be per pixel in some early Qt4 implementations - no problem in Qt5/QtQuick, though) However, see here: http://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=143722266608458&w=2 There seems a problem with libinput shipped by Fedora and Qt5 |

Hi !
Thanks for your answer ! I finally found that the problem was in the KDE 5 configuration files. In fact, I tried to clean my ~/.config/kde* related config files, and to restart my session, and the bug was gone. So I don't know where it was, but it is solved ! Thanks ! |
