Widget for displaying app menus?

Fri Sep 04, 2015 3:27 pm
There used to be a widget(?) that would show the current application's menu, similar to how it shows up on OSX.
I can't seem to find this on Plasma 5, was it removed? If it was, does anyone know of any alternative other than using Plasma 4?

See viewtopic.php?f=285&t=125058 .

So far nobody ported it/implemented it to/for KF5/Plasma5 AFAIK.

Damn, that's disappointing. I'm trying to get a MAC user to switch, but they refuse unless I can set up the general UI to mimic OSX.
They don't care too much about the visual aspect, just the general layout, so that one's pretty important.

I really want them on KDE, I hope this gets added back.

EDIT: I marked this as "resolved" and I'll follow the topic you linked, thanks.
