Regular notifications from apps such as telepathy/kmail appear and animate very smoothly. However, when I click show hidden icons, the notifications that appear over konversation/battery status/etc... are a bit jittery.
This is a core2duo @2.9Ghz with 4GB ram and a 630GT nvidia card with 4GB video memory.
Regular Qt5/gtk3 applications open instantly and perform very well.
Qt5 actually feels faster than Qt4.
Plasma5 feels a bit sluggish though.
kde4's plasma was blazing fast. Is this something that can be improved on or was the jump from plasma4 to plasma5 too big for older computers?
