I just updated Debian testing to KDE Plasma 5.4.2 and noticed that Firefox icon which came with Breeze before is gone. Is it a bug or there are some problems with Mozilla that caused it to be removed? It's somewhat annoying.

That's what I suspected, but can't Mozilla give permission to use it? They are usually OK with it. I couldn't find any discussion of this subject.

as you can see we removed (a lot of) trademark icons. I guess it wouldn't be a problem. We can also add them to kde:breeze but at the moment we removed them and when someone say we can use it, we will ship them again.

I see. Did anyone try asking Mozilla for permission (or plans to do it in the future?). Without letting them know, they'll have no idea it's an issue for KDE :)
