Plasma 5 session reset at start-up

Mon Nov 16, 2015 1:13 pm
Hello!

Summary
On my new openSUSE Leap 42.1, with Plasma 5.4.2, at each start-up of Plasma, my Plasma configuration is reset.

Example
If I change my wallpaper and put some Plasmoids on desktop, when I restart the session (or reboot or shutdown), at the reopening the wallpaper is reset and the Plasmoids disappear (as default).

I have the same problem with a simple restart of Plasma (kill `pidof plasmashell` ; plasmashell &)

What I have tried
- The option for restoration at start-up is activated.
- I have deactivated the graphical compositor.
- In ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc I have the parameters of current session.
- After a shutdown this file is still here.
- So I think the problem is on the Plasma start.
- Nothing interesting in xsession-error I think.

About my system
openSUSE Leap 42.1 fresh install, Plasma 5.4.2, Nvidia proprietary drivers, intel CPU.

Sorry for English mistake
Best regards, thank you for help

Problem solved.

When I create a 2nd activity, the problem disappears. (I have kept only one).

The bug is not reproducible : when I delete all the activities except 1, the plasma reboot doesn’t reset my parameters.

I hope that could help someone.

Best regards,
