I have dual monitor set-up with different resolution, AMD catalyst driver and noticed on every boot the icons change position.
Any tips?

What version of Plasma are you using? I can't seem to reproduce this with the FOSS radeon driver (3 screens).

I noticed on the forum there are dedicated sections and posted on the plasma 5 subtopic,but the category does not show on the post. Sorry for the off-topic.
I am on plasma 5 (kubuntu 15.10) and realised this happend because of different resolutions. When starting the desktop I saw my monitors position where reversed (the left monitor displayed the right) .
This happened for a second but it was enough to scale down the resolution, affecting the position of the widgets.
I had many troubles, so I had to make a new clean installation and I no longer have this issue.
