Is it possible to let the user customise or automatically determine some elements to preload?

For example, would it be feasible to track the most often used elements and preload on boot from the top of the list until a user-set memory budget is exhausted?

This is very annoying problem with KDE 5.x. I was keep hoping with every upgrade that these issues will get fixed but
The worst is Krunner and Application dashboard, everytime I try to search something and letters get typed after 4-5 secs. Though once the string appears results are displayed with no delay.

All plasma plasmoids are plagued with same issue.
