Hello,

I have tryed Plasma and was disappointed that there is no more the ability to
place icons for apps on the desktop (like on windows os).
Will there be an option to do so in future released?
Or do I only did not found out how to do so?

You can either show the contents of your desktop (or any other) folder (in a box or across the entire desktop) or drag random program icons from the runner onto the desktop (as plasmoids)
