hi,
I currently use kubuntu 15.10 with folder visualization. In the settings under mouse action the mouse wheel is set to change the desktop but for some reason it doesn't work. What can be the cause of this ? Thanks for the help |

Sounds like he's using the folderview desktop mode and the mouse (wheel) actions don't work.
loppo, you *do* have more than one VD (the default setup..), do you? |

Sorry if my explanation wasn't fully clear.
The situation is just what luebking sayd above, i'm using the folderview desktop mode but the mouse wheel doesn't switch desktops even if is setu up to do so. I've 2 virtual desktops and i can switch between them by clicking on the widget on the toolbar or by CTRL +F1/F2, it's just the mouse wheel switch that doesn't work as it actually does on other pc and i can't figure out why. |

would help to test if other users have that problem or if it be your config
try changing the switching animations in systemsettings, or reverting to defaults does it work properly in desktop layout? |

changing the switching animations doesn't make any difference but changing to the desktop layout made it work.
Now it also work setting back to the folder view. So i guess the reason still unknown but the fix is pretty fast. Thank for the attention and the suggestions. |
